I’m Maclean Mervin D'Souza, an interior designer based in Mangalore and the owner of Mac Decoris. Interior design, to me, is more than arranging elements within four walls—it’s about creating a sanctuary, a statement, and a reflection of the people who inhabit it.

My Story

From the moment I first envisioned how a space could reflect identity, function, and beauty, I knew interior design was my calling. My journey began with formal education at Sridevi College of Interior Designing and Decoration, where I developed the foundational skills and knowledge to translate creativity into tangible spaces.

Starting out as a site supervisor and material supplier during my college years at Grain Interior, I learned the intricacies of project management and space planning. As I transitioned into roles at Grooves and Joints, my expertise expanded significantly—I mastered the art of material applications in design and construction, eventually stepping into a leadership position as a site supervisor. These experiences were pivotal in shaping my understanding of turning ideas into reality, as they allowed me to oversee the cohesive blend of design vision, craftsmanship, and teamwork.

In 2018, I took the bold step of launching Mac Decoris, my very own interior design venture. At Mac Decoris, I specialize in crafting unique environments that merge individuality with functionality. From initial concepts to final execution, I guide clients through the creative process, ensuring each space embodies their story, values, and vision. My passion for precise detail and timeless design has led me to create interiors that aren’t just beautiful but are also deeply personal and enduring.
